Community Relations
A reality on the ground in the Kavango Region of northeast Namibia is the lack of nearby access to drinking quality water.
For many women the daily reality involves walking up to 10km each way, to the “local” area where they source water.
Local community members, the Namibian government and ReconAfrica want to meaningfully and positively impact the lives of local residents by drilling potable water wells closer to their homesteads.
Our efforts to alleviate this daily hardship will be augmented by any additional water wells that we will be able to hand over to local communities as a result of our project activities in Namibia.
