ReconAfrica is focused on local employment to support a potential oil and gas industry in Namibia and Botswana if a viable resource is discovered. Any successful oil and gas industry requires skilled labour, trades and professionals to ensure the resource is extracted in an efficient, safe, environmentally responsible manner.
There are many opportunities to get the training required to qualify for the many roles associated with the oil and gas industry. Whether it’s technical training; professional training; or basic oil and gas knowledge, we are working closely with educational institutions to develop the programs so Namibians and Batswana have opportunities to work in their industry.
